The Chicago SQL BI User Group is an official PASS chapter focusing on Microsoft's Business Intelligence and the various tools.

 Along with the two existing Chicagoland PASS chapters, our purpose is to help SQL Server professionals connect, learn, and grow through networking opportunities and presentations on Business IntelligenceI-related topics and techniques.

Our group has over 300 members with a very diversified levels of experience and backgrounds. We strive to make it easy to ask questions and share knowledge in an open and direct manner.

Join James Rowland-Jones, co-author of Microsoft Big Data Solutions and Microsoft MVP, as he shares the upcoming features for PDW 2012 AU1 - the next update to PDW's functionality. In one short hour James will highlight all of PDW's new features as well as give special attention to James's favorite feature: Polybase. We can't say too much because that would give it away!
